Hope For Children's

Starting today, we will open at 8am and close at 4pm Monday - Saturday, Sunday will remain unchanged, 10am-4pm.  Our hours of operations have been tweaked slightly since our opening day January 7^th... Much like other businesses around the area banking on Children’s Hospital’s for increased flow, it really hasn’t impacted us at all. We had contemplated opening at 6:30am starting when their Grand Opening took place, but we don’t actually get any customers in the door until 8am.  Sometimes convenience wins over quality, and the hope that Children's was going to bring us a line of coffee thirsty people out the door seems more like a dream now. Perhaps fall will prove to be more fruitful... Before we opened our shop, a long time ago, I had tried to grab a cup of coffee at Quiet Storm around 7am, to my surprise; they didn’t open until 9am or 10am. Now that we’ve been in the neighborhood for 8 months, we understand first hand why their hours are slightly more limited in comparison to similar venues in different areas of the city. The neighborhood is slowly undergoing transformation and we’ll just have to roll with what works for the moment.
